Validity and Renewal of registered trademark
A registered trademark is valid for a period of ten years from date of its registration. At the expiry of trademark validity period, it can be renewed by paying the Govt.Fee for registration by filing Form TM-12. Trademark renewal application in Form TM-12 must be filed within 6 Months from date of expiry of validity.
Objections on trademark application
On scrutiny of trademark application filed, if the trademark examiner finds any issues, like identical or similar mark, mark is indicative of goods/services, use of offensive term or information provided with respect to goods or services is not sufficient, trademark examiner can raise objections on your application.
If an objection on trademark registration application is raised by trademark examiner than a properly drafted reply should be filed after deeply understanding the issues raised.

Opposition of trademark application
