About Managed India Compliance — Yearly Plan

Once an Indian subsidiary or office is running, it has a monthly, quarterly and annual compliance cycle across four regulators, and penalties for a missed step fall on the Indian directors. The Managed India Compliance plan takes the whole cycle off your desk. Our accountants keep the books, file every GST and TDS return, run payroll and its statutory deposits, prepare the ROC annual filings and board records, coordinate the statutory audit, file the income tax return and the RBI's FLA return, and maintain transfer-pricing documentation for intra-group charges. You upload bank statements and invoices each month in your dashboard; we do the rest and report back in your time zone. For companies and individuals in United Kingdom, Fastlegal runs the entire process remotely: your documents are apostilled in United Kingdom, we prepare and file everything with the Indian authorities, and you track each step — and pay — from your dashboard in London hours.

From United Kingdom to India: what to know

  • Our working hours (10am–7pm IST) are roughly 4:30 am–1:30 pm in London. We schedule calls inside that overlap or at a time that suits you.
  • Fees are invoiced in INR and can be paid by GBP card (your bank converts) or by wire transfer to our Indian bank account.

How it works

1

Order & pay online

Choose the plan for the financial year and pay online by international card or in INR; your account manager schedules an onboarding call and collects portal access.

2

Upload documents in your dashboard

Each month upload bank statements, invoices and payroll changes in your dashboard. The plan page shows every month as missing, received or processed, and we remind you when something is due.

3

We keep the books and file everything

Our accountants post the books, reconcile GST credit, run payroll, deposit taxes and file every return before its due date; ROC, FEMA and tax filings are prepared from the same books and signed off with you.

4

Track & download

Read the monthly management report, download every acknowledgement from your dashboard, and join the quarterly review call to plan the next period.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to come to India for Managed India Compliance?↓

No. Everything is done remotely for clients in United Kingdom. Signatures are handled with digital signature certificates and apostilled documents; we represent you before the Indian authorities.

How are my United Kingdom documents legalised for India?↓

United Kingdom is party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so each document is notarised and then apostilled by the competent authority in United Kingdom. India accepts apostilled documents without further embassy attestation. We send you a checklist of exactly which documents need this.

Can I pay from United Kingdom?↓

Yes. You pay in INR by international card (GBP is converted by your bank) or by wire transfer; the GST invoice appears in your dashboard immediately.

When can we talk?↓

Our team works 10am–7pm IST, which is about 4:30 am–1:30 pm in London. Book a call inside that window or tell us a time that suits you.

Is this suitable for a company with no revenue yet?↓

Yes. Even a dormant subsidiary must file nil GST returns, TDS returns if it pays salaries or rent, ROC annual returns, an income tax return and the FLA return. The plan keeps a pre-revenue company compliant, and we tell you if a lighter scope would suit you better.

Does the fee include the statutory audit?↓

No. Indian law requires the audit to be done by an independent chartered accountant who is not the bookkeeper, so audit fees are separate. We prepare everything the auditor needs, coordinate the audit and handle the ROC filings that follow.

What about transfer pricing?↓

Transactions with your parent or group companies must be at arm's length and documented. The plan covers maintaining the documentation and filing Form 3CEB; a full benchmarking study for a new or complex arrangement is scoped separately.

How do you work across time zones?↓

Monthly reports and filings run on Indian deadlines without needing you. Calls are scheduled in your business hours, your dashboard shows live status, and WhatsApp or email updates go out at every step.

Can we switch to you mid-year?↓

Yes. We take over the books from the last closed month, review earlier filings for gaps, and the fee is pro-rated to the months left in the financial year.
