Documents Required for ISO Certification
ISO Certification is granted on the strength of the papers you file with it, so a complete set at the start is the difference between 2–6 weeks, depending on standard and readiness and a query that sends the application back. Below is every document our team needs from you, what each one is for, and how to get it to us. You upload all of it in your Fastlegal dashboard — nothing is couriered, and nothing is payable while you gather it.

How to submit your documents
- 1
Start it online: Choose the ISO standard and hand it to our team.
- 2
Upload documents in your dashboard: Upload company details and existing process documents in your dashboard.
- 3
We prepare you for audit: We run a gap assessment, prepare documentation and schedule the audit with a certification body.

Scans or clear phone photographs are fine for every item above. Documents live in your private vault, are served only to your signed-in account and the team working on your file, and you can delete anything you uploaded.
Document questions for iso certification
Does the ISO organisation issue certificates?
No. The International Organization for Standardization develops standards but does not certify. Certificates are issued by certification bodies, ideally accredited by an IAF member such as NABCB in India.
How long is an ISO certificate valid?
Typically three years, subject to annual surveillance audits by the certification body. A recertification audit is needed at the end of the cycle.
Is the certificate guaranteed?
No. The certification body decides based on its audit. We prepare you thoroughly, but non-conformities found during the audit must be closed before the certificate is issued.
Can small businesses get ISO certified?
Yes. ISO standards apply to organisations of any size. Documentation is scaled to the size and complexity of your business.
Got your documents together?
Hand iso certification to our team and upload them straight away. We confirm a fixed fee once we have seen what is involved — nothing is charged until you approve it.
