Documents Required for Accounting & Bookkeeping
Accounting & Bookkeeping is granted on the strength of the papers you file with it, so a complete set at the start is the difference between books updated within 10 days of month-end data upload and a query that sends the application back. Below is every document our team needs from you, what each one is for, and how to get it to us. You upload all of it in your Fastlegal dashboard — nothing is couriered, and nothing is payable while you gather it.

How to submit your documents
- 1
Start it online: Start bookkeeping and pick the month you want processed.
- 2
Upload documents in your dashboard: Upload bank statements, sales and purchase bills as an accounting upload in your dashboard.
- 3
We record and reconcile: Our accountants post entries, reconcile bank balances and flag missing documents in your dashboard.
- 4
Track & download: Track progress in your dashboard and download monthly registers and P&L summaries.
Scans or clear phone photographs are fine for every item above. Documents live in your private vault, are served only to your signed-in account and the team working on your file, and you can delete anything you uploaded.
